The Difference: Before And After

Hmm... Guess wat?? My first blog after like 3 months?? Its the exams, i tell u... taking up all my time... Well, actually its also DOTA la.. spending quite some time on it too.... =P

So what is with the title - The Amazing Difference: Before And After?

Well. its the difference before and after i split up with my ex-girlfriend. A lot have changed since then. I havent seen her in almost a month although we do keep in touch... (by calling and msg-ing). We are still good friends.. =)

However, I have to accept the fact that my almost-3-years first love fairytale have finally ended. I am quite sad it had to end in this dramtic fashion though. Not that i dont want to be with her anymore, it is like the distance between us has been growing greater and greater over the past month. ANd with my exams and all, and she moving to a house with no stable phone reception. It was really hard even to talk to her.

So now, AFTER the breakup, my whole life seem to have cahgned for the better i think. The friends that i have neglected a bit during the past few years, i am trying to create a closer bond. The friends that i have just met during the new college year, I am trying to be best of friends. These are not possible during the time when i had to tend to her every need. So, for the past month, I have been able to study quite well for my externals (excluding the times when she calls and message). Now, with my last paper to go in 5 days time, I have this feeling i can do better than what I did in the first Semester!! =D

During the past month, my friends have been there to support me, THANK YOU i say to Darren, Dixynn, Rachel and Vi Vian. And of course still having my best friends (Darren, Wayn and Voon Chee). And to the others whom i haven't relate this incident to, I think you all will find out sooner or later. I think i have also opened up quite alot during the past month, being able to be freed of the surpressing stress. Making new friends like Nick Liew, Adrienne, Jack, Nick Lau, Ali and the 3 new friends up there (Dixynn, Rachel and Vi Vian) defintely helps alot in making my college days feel less boring.

The never-ending nights of DOTA-ing and outings will neva be forgottened. And of course not to forget hanging out with my new college friends are also equally fun. Sadly, some of them are already leaving for Australia and probably New Zealand next year, hopefully i'll be seeing them again. Ahh.. how i hope i can organize a trip that will include both my best friends and my new found friends. That would be perfect!! =D

Note-to-self: Take time to realise your surroundings, maybe something better is out there.
